WK - Gauteng and surrounds
The Weimaraner Klub of Gauteng was founded in January 1981 and became affiliated to the Kennel Union of South Africa (KUSA) in 1985 The aim of the Klub is to maintain and improve the quality of Weimaraners in this country.
The Klub produces several newsletters, keeping members updated on all breed activities. Importantly, the Klub holds Shooting Ratings, providing an excellent opportunity for members to test their Weimaraners in the field. We also organise various other events including our annual Open Show and Championship Show, and our annual Lunch/Prize giving at the Open Show, which enable breed enthusiasts to meet and socialize.
